The entire process to recruit Lok Rakshak Dal (LRD) police constables is likely to get delayed by around two months. There are no dates available till January 13, officials of education department told TOI.
Recruitment exam of various government agencies have been scheduled throughout December up to January 13.
Sources said this is just the beginning of delay in LRD recruitment for 9,713 posts in which around 8.75 lakh candidates were scheduled to appear. Starting from the first Sunday of December, there are exams on every Sunday up to middle of next month, officials said.
“It is necessary to hold the recruitment exam on a Sunday so that all those who are working can appear. During all Sundays till mid of January there are different exams scheduled to be held by government recruiting bodies,” said U N Rathod, district education officer, Surat
